The Nasty Abbotts have been playing since the early 80s. In their early days, the Abbotts did their own thing and backed up local and national artists such as Cora Jones, Gino Wesley and the 58 Delrays, Frank Starr (50s rockabilly recording artist) and Dean Mathis of the Newbeats. RosCo And The Heads were formed in McAlester, OK in 1991 with original drummer Blane Mouser, Steven Ford on bass, and Ross'RosCo' Chronister on guitars and vocals. The three original members were graduates of near by Wilburton High School and they performed classic rock, blues, and original music penned by Chronister.
